Taxon description
Rozmieszczenie nie jest poznane. Aulmann (1913) pisze, że występuje w całej Europie. Jednak w późniejszych latach mimo starannych poszukiwań, odnaleziono go tylko w Austrii i Szwajcarii, a ostatnio również w Czechosłowacji. Jest to prawdopodobnie gatunek bardzo lokalny, być może borealno-atlantycki. Żyje na wierzbach— Salix L.
