Taxon description
Klimaszewski 1967:
Znany dotąd jedynie z Europy, gdzie stwierdzono jego występowanie od Skandynawii do Alp. Do niedawna mylono go z Psylla mali Schmidb. i Psylla peregrina Först., stąd też wiadomości o jego występowaniu są jeszcze nieliczne. Żyje na jarząbie pospolitym — Sorbus aucuparia L. Zimują jaja, owady dorosłe pojawiają się w początku czerwca.
