Gatunek rozsiedlony głównie w południowej Europie, wykazywany również z południowej części Europy Środkowej, Kaukazu i zachodniej Azji. Z uwagi na rozmieszczenie ogólne, dotychczasowe dane o występowaniu omawianego gatunku w naszym kraju budzą bardzo poważne wątpliwości.
