Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1974:

Gatunek rozmieszczony głównie w południowo-wschodniej Europie, wykazywany również z południowej i zachodniej części Europy Środkowej, Kaukazu i Syberii. W ogóle rzadko spotykany. W r. 1932 i 1937 znaleziono po jednym okazie nad Odrą w ówczesnym Frankfurcie, możliwe, że na terenie Słubic. Omyłkowo podany z Niziny Mazowieckiej (Warszawa Bielany) przez Sz. Tenenbauma (1937) na podstawie błędnego oznaczenia okazu Harpalus (Harpalus) tardus (Panz.) o niewybarwionych nogach i spodzie ciała (B. Burakowski*). Wyspowe stanowiska leżą na terenie Moraw i Słowacji, nie jest więc wykluczona obecność omawianego gatunku w południowych krainach Polski.
