Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1974:

Gatunek ograniczony zasięgiem do południowej części Europy Środkowej oraz do Europy południowej. Z uwagi na rozmieszczenie ogólne oraz brak okazów dowodowych w zbiorach, wzmianki o występowaniu na obszarze Polski należy uznać za niewiarogodne; nie notowany również z Czechosłowacji. Omyłkowo wykazany ze Śnieżnika Kłodzkiego w r. 1833 przez W. Rotermunda, co później sprostował K. Letzner (1851, 1871, 1885). O występowaniu na Śląsku wątpi J. Gerhardt (1891 e). Dane M. Łomnickiego o zasiedleniu Galicji należy odnieść do Howerli w Paśmie Czarnohorskim (Ukr. SRR).
