Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1990b:

Gatunek palearktyczny, sięgający od Wysp Brytyjskich po Syberię Wschodnią i Mongolię; w Szwecji sięga daleko poza koło podbiegunowe. W Polsce występuje prawdopodobnie w całym kraju. Zasiedla pobrzeża wód, poławiany od kwietnia do lipca na mannach — Glyceria R. Br., jeżogłówkach — Sparganium L. i turzycach — Carex L.
