Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1990b:
Gatunek rozsiedlony w środkowej i północnej części Europy, na wschód dociera do Syberii Zachodniej. W Polsce znany z nielicznych stanowisk rozproszonych w różnych częściach kraju, przy czym większość danych o jego występowaniu opiera się na znaleziskach w ubiegłym stuleciu. Zasiedla pobrzeża lasów, dróg śródleśnych i poręby na terenach nizinnych i górzystych. Poławiany od maja do sierpnia na brzozach, wierzbach, głogach i leszczynie.
