Taxon description
Klimaszewski 1967:
Znany z całej Palearktyki, wszędzie pospolity. Jest to jeden z najpospolitszych gatunków koliszków w Polsce i nie ulega wątpliwości, że występuje w całym kraju. Żyje na olszy czarnej — Alnus glutinosa (L.) Gaertn. — a niekiedy i na olszy szarej —Alnus incana (L.) Mnch. Zimuje w stadium jaj.
