Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1987:

Gatunek stosunkowo niedawno opisany, wykazany dotychczas z nielicznych, ciepłych stanowisk w Europie środkowej, Danii, Holandii oraz południowej Szwecji i Finlandii, notowany także z Bułgarii. W Polsce został odkryty w południowej i zachodniej części kraju, w siedmiu krainach. Jest to jeden z najbardziej rozpowszechnionych i najliczniej występujących gatunków Mordellidae w biotopach kserotermicznych badanych przez W. Szymczakowskiego (1973). Autor ten poławiał chrząszcze od połowy maja do połowy sierpnia.
